1. When you were formed? who the present members?

Combat 77 was formed in March 2007, present members are Kirsten (vocals), Dole (guitar), Silvio (guitar), Hannes (Bass) and Björn (drums).

2. Tell a small one about the members! (age, workplace, favourite orchestra, his previous or other band)

Our ages vary between mid 20s and early 40s. Kirsten works as an English teacher, she was singing for “Vendetta” and “Annex5” before, and had a very short intermission as guitar player in a band called “Video KZ”. Dole studies and works at a home for mentally retarded young people, Silvio studies and drinks, and Hannes works as a stone cutter. All three also play in “Riot Company”. Björn is doing 2 jobs in computer administration and website design, he used to play in bands like “Chemical Maze”, “Flodders”, “Recharge”, “Audio Kollaps”, “Annex5” and also had a very short guest intermission in the famous “Video KZ”. Musical tastes ranges from Oi!, Punk Rock, Melodic Punk, Hardcore, Psychobilly and so on.

3. Why did you select this bandname?

It shall demonstrate the Oi! – connection with the word “Combat” from the skinhead side and the word “77” from the punk rock side.

4.How you would present the orchestra to it who never heard about you yet?

Old School Melodic Oi! Punk with female vocals.

5.Tell me it appeared till now from your publications(album,lp,demo etc..)?

We released a 4 song demo in late 2007 which sold out immediately. Our first album called “100% Oi!” contains 14 songs and was released in April 2008 by Sunny Bastards (CD) and Contra Records (CD). There will also be a 3 band split CD with Clockwork Rebelss, Riot Company and Combat 77 coming out soon on Tiger Records in Czech Republic; this split CD contains the 4 songs from our demo.

6. How you would summarize it the orchestra years? Are you satisfied with it?

Yes, completely. We only play together for a very short period, but we have already achieved good gigs and a record deal, what else can you expect :-)

7. I know it well your new album will appear now. Tell a story about this (studio, records etc..)

The studio work went very smooth and professional because we spend some time to prepare all songs good enough so that there will be no confusion. Our time schedule was also very tight and strict so we didn..t have much time for getting all songs right. In the end, however, we perfectly finished and were very glad.

8. How much are you known in Germany? Was your concert already abroad? I see you will play in Subculture fest!

Since we are a quite new band we haven..t played so many gigs yet. But because all of us have already played in other bands, this makes it more easier because many people know us before. Subculture fest will be our first gig abroad with this band, but as I said, we had gigs with our other bands before in countries like England, Indonesia, Japan, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, France etc.

9. Best concert experience than orchestra? Is he worst?

All past gigs were great; we luckily didn..t have any bad one yet.

10. According to you who our days best punk/oi/skin his orchestra? We it to what you listen recently the mostly?

At the moment there are very good Oi! band coming from our area ( Hanover) like “Guts ..n..Glory” and “Lion Shield”; great other bands of course are Holy Racket, Bonecrusher,

11. Say 3 things what you know about Hungary!

12. What..s our opinion about
a, SHARP

Political attitude, it..s up to every single person to deal with politics or not. It..s ok to have an attitude like this but one should not impose or force one..s own political belief on other people.

Maybe the same as in all other countries in the world. It seems the foreign media are sometimes making a big hype out of it; some US newspapers even declared the punk “chaos days” as fascist group meeting... !

d, The Exploited

Wattie is a great guy, we know him for many many years. He was punk when it wasn..t a fashion but a hard fight on the streets every day, and people should acknowledge this!

Best record is the Shock Troops, but the new record is also very good. “Suicide Girls” is a smash hit”

f, Straight Edge

Up to every individual person to decide. Some people can..t take the booze, so maybe it..s better when they stay sober. Anyway, the original idea was just born out of a forceful situation because in the States younger people weren..t allowed to drink anyway and therefore created a kind of cult. But, as in the Sharp, Rash or any other political direction, people should not pester power on other people but let everyone decide for themselves. As for us, we stay with the beers!!!

13. What kind of are punk / skin scene in your town?

Great bunch of younger Oi! skinheads but unfortunately not many punks who are interested in the Oi! thing.
